Hi! I'm Jon Stauff, director of the Center for Global Engagement at The College of New Jersey. I work in the field of international education and teach European history when time permits. Welcome!

Taught modern European and world history (tenured in 1999, chair of department 2000-2004, promotion to full professor in 2005); served as director of Catholic Studies, academic director of study abroad, and director of international education in addition to teaching duties, rising to assistant vice president in 2005. Was elected chair of the faculty assembly and several governance committees while participating in practically all aspects of life at a small higher ed institution at one point or another during my time there. Over the years I received support from Fulbright, IREX, NAFSA, the IFSA Foundation, Humanities Iowa, and the Univ of Wisconsin for various curriculum development, public programming, and research projects.
